Microelectronics
Driving the Technical Process
DPR brings a high level of technical competence to the planning and construction of semiconductor facilities. We offer a well-known team of experienced construction managers and engineers who have built multi-million dollar facilities for each of the top 5 domestic chip producers. We also work with some of the country's fastest growing specialty manufacturers who need cost-effective build-out and certification of lease spaces.

Technical Expertise
Technically Competent Semiconductor Facility Builders
DPR understands that technical competency and speed of project delivery are the key elements in a successful semiconductor
project. To support those requirements, we have developed a knowledge base to ensure that the job is done right the first
time and methodologies to ensure that we have maximized constructability up front and eliminated all lag times during
construction.
Proprietary Clean Build Protocol
DPR has developed an innovative, proprietary clean build protocol for sub-micron cleanroom construction. The
protocol's premise is that the number of microcontaminants entering the cleanroom in the first place must be
minimized. We pre-clean and bag all cleanroom components, the number of total gowning procedures are minimized,
less time overall is spent gowning up and down, and fewer people are in the cleanroom at any given time. Our
protocol helps reduce labor up to 30%, accelerates certification, and helps ensure successful wafer yields.
In-House Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Expertise
DPR has an in-house staff of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) coordinators whose role is to scrutinize
cleanroom designs, perform constructability analysis, develop detailed conceptual estimates, and offer
alternatives to make our customers' facilities more functional and more flexible.
Our MEP coordinators are specialists in laminar flow technology, ultra-high purity piping systems, cleanroom component construction, and process tool arrangement. They understand and track applicable codes and ordinances for all bulk, specialty, and toxic gasses. And they have a wealth of practical experience to know what will work in a production environment. In support of tool hook-up, we even employ 3D visualization techniques and extensive tool hook-up matrixes to ensure faster, better coordination of equipment installation.
